Heya friends and fans!

Quick Details:

Where: Kick Butt Coffee, Airport location (see attached flyer for map)

When:  Thursday, March 17th, somewhere between 7pm - 12am

What:   Open mic contest and unofficial SXSW celebration, with door prizes and all sorts of stuff!

Don't have plans on Thursday night? Need a break from the SXSW mayhem and crowds??? This just in! Life On Loan has been selected to be one of 15 bands in the Nationwide Kick Butt Coffee Unofficial SXSW Open Mic contest (whew! what a mouthfull!) THIS Thursday Night, taking the stage somewhere between 7pm-12am. With so many bands on one night, we only have 10 minutes and 2 songs to impress the audience AND some industry judges! 5 winners receive a custom built website and some additional marketing help from bandromeda.com. Winners are chosen 1/2 on audience votes, and 1/2 on a 3-judge panel of industry professionals. 

The deal is, we don't know when we're going to play - bands play in the order in which they sign up. BUT - Kick Butt is an awesome place and I'm sure you're going to a great sampling of some awesome music, so you can't lose! Plus, there are door prizes announced all throughout the evening, drink specials for those of you that imbibe, and a family friendly atmosphere for those of you that don't! Once we get there and find out approximately when we'll play, we'll tweet it (so if you're on Twitter and not following @lifeonloanband, now's a great time to do so!) and hopefully y'all can make it. 

It's last-minute and it's random, but hey - that's what SXSW and St. Paddy's Day is all about! Come on out and enjoy the show!  Hope to see some of y'all on Thursday!
