Key Details:

• Dates: 10-12 December 2025

• Venue (Days 1-2): Ahmedabad University, Gujarat, India

• Venue (Day 3): Gopnaad Mera, Gujarat, India (Pastoral Women’s Parliament)

• Participants: 150+ pastoralist women leaders, organizations, researchers, policymakers

Objectives:

• Share good practices on pastoral women's challenges

• Update MERA Declaration for land rights, climate justice, biodiversity

• Build gender-transformative IYRP strategies and regional solidarity

Agenda Highlights:

• Day 1 (Ahmedabad University): Grassroots voices and stakeholder dialogues

• Day 2 (Ahmedabad University): Policy pathways and MERA revisit

• Day 3 (Gopnaad Mera): Women’s Parliament, celebrations, rally
