Black Ops 2 Xbox 360 Emulator

Hellosorry for nagging you, but I am really don't know much about the og xbox modding stuff... My problem is, I have 3 og xbox, two of them working great, and 1 can't play two important games, everything else working great.

Forza motorsport, and Counter-strike. When I launch them it gives me a black screen on my main xbox, in CS I can hear the background music as well. On my other 2 xboxes they can run these games without a problem.

The only differences I can see with my newbie eyes are the "faulty" xbox has XMBC dashboard, while the others have that regular one, unleashx or evox (I can't really tell the differences), but would be the problem only this? I know the 2 working one is hardware modded, at least this is what I requested when I sent it to the service, the other, well, I don't remember seeing a chip inside, maybe tsoped, or softmodded.

Oh, and I would like to mention a couple things I read about this black screen, one is a problem solve for others, but not for me:

Worked for me first time with HDD and DVD backups" --> I could not step into the original MSdash, tried it switching inside XMBC, didn't work.

these are xbox games. I know the games are good, one thing I can say difference between the working ones and the one that doesnt run these 2 games is the one that gives me black screen is probably softmodded, while the others are hardmoded. Tried with different dashboards, same black screen (also launching UnleashX also gave me a black screen, I could try it with avalaunch,xbmc,xbmc4gamers,evox.

The problem was when I loaded up the MSdash in the options there was no option to change the language, turned out I had some modded msdash, so Rocky sent me a proper version of the msdash, and I could change the language and as mentioned above it solved my problem.

Hey guys, so a few months ago i decided to buy the bigbox subscription. I've been trying to play some xbox games with xemu and some games won't work. The issue is the game will load, the sounds are all there, the game will respond to inputs but the screen will be black except for the toolbar for xemu at the top. Itll load the start up screen for xbox but that's it. The game I mainly want to play is need for speed most wanted 2005. I don't know which other games don't work but other people in my house have tried a few others and have had varied results with some working fine and others having the above problem. The computers running Microsoft Windows 10 pro with Intel corei7. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read and to anyone who responds. Cheers!

I'd check the emulators compatibility page, it sounds like that game may just not run on that emulator. Xbox emulation is still in VERY early stages and isn't near as stable as other platforms so issues SHOULD be expected.

Thanks for the response! I'll definitely have a look into the compatibility list. That sounds as tho it's the most probable reason. I know its still in early stages so I expected that there may be some issues with stability but thought that maybe it was a setting or something along those lines that hasn't been setup properly on my end. I'll have to see if it isnt compatible yet, that if maybe it'll run on a different platform like ps2 or pc or something. Regardless tho, thanks for the tip!

New emulators tend to be pretty picky when it comes to what GPU you are using as well. Some emulators play better with Nvidia than AMD for example. I'm not sure if that emulator has that quirk or not but would be another thing to potentially look into.

You might want to check the compatibility list on Xemu's official website (link below). "Need for Speed Most Wanted" is marked as "Playable" by the way. A rather impressive 83% of the catalog is playable with Xemu, however it does require a fairly fast CPU and decent GPU from what I've experienced and heard as well.

Welcome to this tutorial, I am laying out everything I know to get to play this game on the Xbox 360 emulator Xenia until the end. It will have issues and crashes that are guaranteed but I will lay out how to fix them like I did.

Get the Xenia Canary emulator. Canary means the latest experimental version. Do not get the regular/master version. I use the December 23 2023 version, but pick the latest one unless it has unique issues not found here.

I recommend at least playing to the first save in Lost Odyssey as it would be the most stable way to try things out if it works and if your PC can support it. I personally had no crashes the way through the first save. If it does, just try again.

These patches will allow you to tailor some aspects of Lost Odyssey you might want to have. I only used the 60 FPS patch. Keep in mind the game will naturally be twice as resource-hungry to run doing this. If your PC cannot handle it, do not activate it.

Save your changes. If you get graphical glitches like characters showing black flickering, you can disable dynamic shadows in the same patch file but I decided to keep them.

This will allow you to run at the resolution you want. I personally run it at 1440p and 60 FPS with my GPU being an RTX 3070 and my CPU being an i5-13600K. The game will still chug in cities with lots of NPCs, but runs well in any other case.

I have an RTX 3070 and an i5-13600k, which is a comfortable mid-range PC. If your specs are even lower, do not use all these fancy features and just keep it at base resolution or 30 FPS or both.

You can make the game look even better by using anti-aliasing feature by pressing F6 in the emulator. It has FXAA and FSR 1.0, which you should activate both if you have the extra firepower for it.

I will now go over crashes that are guaranteed to happen in this game and how to get past them. If there are any other crashes, it will most assuredly fix itself if you put the game back to 30 FPS.

Download Cheat Engine, your windows defender anti-virus will probably block it because it has ads in the installation process you will have to decline. Just allow the software in windows defender and decline all ads.

Quit the emulator, relaunch it, load the save, and you should get past this scene without crashing. If you ram the door more than once with Kaim or ram it with other characters, the game WILL crash. Do not do it.

PS: If you want the item here. Ram once with Kaim, switch to Jansen, kick the rat, switch to Seth, kick the rat, switch to Kaim and get the item. Do not do anything else as the game will automatically progress on its own. You will have to fast. If it still crashes trying to get the item, just do nothing and let the story continue. You will get the item later in the game.

The last Disc 1 boss will have you fight Mack after the Crimson Forest and inside the Shrine. The game will crash in a cutscene after the boss fight.

When i click play in the editor, the cube is displayed and i can move it.

But when i try to launch the application from Visual C++ 2019 in the Emulator (Hololens 1 ou 2, installed from the Hololens 2 emulator install), the application is displayed as a windows in the emulator, but the cube is not visible (black screen).

Tricky. I got the same results with MRTK example: black window no scene objects. However the AZure Remote Rendering sample will work. Copy the scene files into ARR project (something like QuickStart) and start it. There must been some configuration problems and I am trying to find it.

I am interested in Vigor but I play on a PC and don't own an X-Box console. I read somewhere that it is possible to play X-Box games on a PC. Now I wonder if the current version of Vigor is compatible with PC. If this is not the case, are there any plans to make a future version of the game playable on PC?

sea of thieves and state of decay are xbox exclusives too and you can play them on pc. its a feature thats called "xbox play anywhere" in these games there is crossplay with your friends on pc. so its definetely not impossible that vigor will be treated the same way.
