2) What is about existing subcription? We have purchased Building Design Suite Ultimate 2015 which included AutoCAD Structural detailing, but now it is discontinuted, and replace with Advance steel, how it works?
Can some one from Autodesk specialist answers my concern? Advance Steel is a single platform which is similar with Civil 3D? Next version of Design Building Suite 2016 will NOT have AutoCAD structural detailing?
i have aprblem with the main icons of the ribbon, i install the program and it works correctly Suddenly the user interface converts to the normal autocad i tried to restore the ACAD.CUIX and doesn't work pls help .
We are doing steel structural detailing. Now we are planning to move into 3D platform. We are now using AutoCAD Mechanical & plain AutoCAD for our drawings. We are not in manufacturing industry. We do not use Inventor. But we are confused between Revit Structure & AutoCAD Structural Detailing. Which software between that two, will be better for us? Why?
ASD is only available as part of the Autodesk Revit Structure and AutoCAD Plant 3D Suite. It would be beneficial to purchase Revit Structure as this will help with many other aspects of structural drafting.
