Ifthe AR code for wild pokemon IV modifying (starting line: 94000130 FDFF0000) is used on a newly-bred pokemon, is this detectable in any way from hack checkers or anything else (as long as it is within legal stat limits)?
On a related note then, using an IV modifier on any existing pokemon should also be undetectable if there is not PID-IV relation? (Ex: I receive a legit Jirachi, and I run the IV modifier on it and leave everything else unchanged, this will still be undetectable?)
Hm..I may have missed something then. So there are some pokemon that have a PID-IV relationship? And I'd also have to modify the PID (even if I leave the nature/ability untouched) if I change the IVs of said hypothetical event Jirachi?
And just another question regarding pokesav and PID-IV generator - for one, I can`t seem to read the font (it just shows up as symbols) in the menu where you press PID/IV button then Generate - what do these headings mean, and is this where i choose the gender and nature and ability of the pokemon. Or do I press the Generate button instead (instead of the PID IV button)
The second column is labeled "アルゴリズム", a Japanese phonetic spelling of "algorithm", probably referring to the algorithm used to generate the PID-IV relationship. DP Pokemon I think are all Type 1, but I'm not sure.
Another question about IV+PID - if I transfer a (real) pokemon from my Fire Red to Diamond through palpark and I want to change its IVs, do I have to change PID accordingly, or is there no relation once again?
So I tried using both of the IV modifier cheats in this thread on leaf green in myboy, and replaced the last 2 digits with 1F (hexadecimal value for 32 since IVs go to 31 and 0 counts) and all it did was make my nature Modifier and wild Pokemon modifier not work. Clearly I'm doing something wrong, so can someone please provide instructions on how to properly use the IV modifier to get perfect IVs?
Dude, the bad egg? You better look up the code to erase that on Pojo or something pronto, or your game is liable to be effed up. Nintendo put those in there to trip up amateur hackers, if you leave it too long it will multiply over your legit pokemon and eventually delete your game, IIRC.
a bad egg cant hatch because because its not actually a part of the game but sometimes you can hatch it and it hatches into a pokemon called missingo i thought it was banned when they made dimond and pearl but apperiently it wasnt
a bad egg is kind of a glich i have been trying to hatch both of mine for about 3 weeks but i have heard that if it does hatches it shuts down your game permanently but others say it hatches a really awesoem pokemon :S i dont know which one to beleive :p
Awesome i did it and got a Shiny Manaphy . So i did again and he was regualar . Funyy thing is that i got the shiny 1 for a friend so i traded it to mine and i battled hium with it and he saw i did that , we laughed but he was disappoited
It seems we are getting a lot more traffic lately on the Ponymon Dawn/Dusk Wiki. Please see what we are doing to revive this project by following the links on the updated sections of our Home Page and these other links:
Here is a list of some codes that can be entered into the VBA's Game Shark section to alter game play. Since Ponymon (both Dawn and Dusk) are based off Fire Red, any hack for Fire Red should technically work with this game. As most area's aren't ponfied yet, expect to see pokemon if you're going into undeveloped area's. You only need to use one code out of the bunch, multiple's are supplied so that in case one doesn't work, there are others that you can use. To quick search through this page hold down "ctrl" and "F" at the same time and search what you're looking for in the pop up bar. Please note that not all of these cheats work correctly, and may cause errors/crashes.
This code allows you to get all 3 starters in either version and it has been tested and works. To understand how to use this code check out the video how to get all 3 starter pokemon in pokemon leaf green and fire red . the link to the video works and the video is showing how to do it in fire red and leaf green in which the games originate from..duh. Also for non believers here is picture proof. You can also use this cheat to get both music disks at the end of Mt Moon. NOTE: Switching ponies in the first rival battle, while exiting the lab, will cause the game to glitch.
This code allows you to have all of the TMs and HMs. It also allows you to reuse a TM over and over again. WARNING! Do not use with any other code except the Master Code or the game will crash when you open up the Menu.
This allows you to have an inifinite amount of key items, HOWEVER, you need to actually have the items as this only changes the AMOUNT you have. (But to be honest, why would you need infinite Key Items anyway?)
NOTE: Tested. Works perfectly, though it will tell you you only gained the natural amount of EXP, and then the EXP meter will skyrocket. As with above, all attacks, including those of opponents, are critical hits. Doesn't work with Trainer Battles.
Are you desperately seeking a girl? This code should help you get that female for you. I have no idea what will happen if you use this code since ponies seem to be '100%' one gender or another. If you want to try, drop a comment and tell us what happens.

This code changes the ponies you encounter in the wild, giving you a 100% chance of finding any Ponymon you wish. This means that you can have all of the starter ponies and difficult ones like Derpy without much of a hassle. Simple exchange the 'xxx' with that Ponymon's code below. Beware of Bad Egg. This cheat is really glitchy, so you may need to reset the rom to get it to work. (No, not your saved game! The rom!) Also make sure you have the cheat below the master code on. view =1oOlk08LEGI To See How To Do It
