Lido Fleet 80,

I wanted to welcome our newest Fleet member Fernando Mendez to Seattle's Fleet 80.  Fernando joined me on Lake Sammamish this winter, and I helped him procure Lido #4279 from Anacortes.  This boat is a well rigged racer that just needs a little clean up, and it's only 5 hulls out of the mold ahead of mine (same colors too).  So I'll have a well matched sparring partner.  :)

With our Class Championship only 2 weeks away I wanted to see if anyone wanted to tune-up with us on Lake Sammamish this weekend or next weekend?  I know next weekend is Al Morris Regatta at Yale lake, but I couldn't do 2 days of racing then 4 more days so I probably won't make it to that regatta.  I'm planning to get out on the water Saturday with my new crew Elizabeth (Sarah's off to Italy), winds are forecast SW 5 MPH (not ideal), Sunday winds are forecast SW 8 MPH.  Next weekend who knows.

Might also be a good time for some buffin' and measurin'.  Fernando's boat did come with an original measurement certificate, but I doubt he will enter the CCR this year.

Sorry for the short notice, just got the idea.  Let me know if anyone is interested and we can get more specific on when and how.
