Lidos at Sail Sand Point Octoberfest this weekend? - Perhaps our 2010 fleet championship?

There is a regatta at Sail Sand Point this weekend.  I think Lidos could enter if we were able to get a reasonable turn-out (Perhaps even less than 5 boats as Sand Point seems pretty flexible, particularly if we brought our own trophy).  I think they would also let non-juniors (even old folks like us) participate - I believe they did last year, but we'd have to confirm

 

I know this is last minute, but our Regatta planning has been pretty limited this year, and this would be an easy way to do our Fleet Championship before we get into November.  With a couple boats already stored at Sand Point, those nice new docks, and someone else doing race committee and setting marks this might be too good to pass up.

 

NOR is attached $55 entry fee 9/25-26 This Saturday and Sunday. Includes 2 lunches & snacks.

Octoberfest is coming up this weekend. In addition to the normal NWYRC fleets there is going to be a large V15 fleet with many HS teams coming. There will also be a large Opti fleet with multiple Canadians teams coming too.

Please send me an email telling me if you are coming and what you are sailing.

SYC Race Team will have a morning meeting at 9:30 before the skippers meeting. Be there to rig at least 30 minutes before this.
Optis at Tolands can get a boat ride to their boats after the skippers meeting and sail to the course directly from there.
