According to a few other post and this,
Apple planed adding requirement to use ipv6 to upload app to Appstore.
Which is understandable but horrible..

I think I have to modify lidgren library to support ipv6 both client and server.
Don't know how to, I saw some1 already did this, but I can't sure the guy's modifications are enough.
And no code available for the mods.

Does anyone have done this before? Is there anyone who can let me know how to??
Thank you!

Hey locus840!

Any luck getting answer to this?

I am currently using lidgren with Unity3d.
After Apple applied this requirement to life, i have troubles submitting my app to AppStore.
Currently lidgren not working with IPv6 networks.
I tried to apply this pull request to my code:

Adopting it to Unity3d as follows here:

But it all didnt work for me - after using this approach my app was unable to establish connections either in IPv4 or IPv6 networks.

Maybe you know any solution or workaround?

Best regards, Alexander Bogomoletz.

Because lidgren doesn't support some features (like IPv6 and Universal Windows Platform) i created own network UDP library called LiteNetLib (https://github.com/RevenantX/LiteNetLib).
It very similar to lidgren but more lightweight (maybe without some killer features). But with IPv6 support and active development.
You can try. It used in one commercial project and one homemade game (blockfield.net)
