the lidar group is better

A few months ago I looked at the lidar group https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/lidar and it was full if somebody of spam.  It looks as somebody has taken it in hand.  Now it's empty - all postings have been deleted.  So it might be worth joining to see what happens next.

That group is about lidar generally.  I'm guessing that most of the discussions will be about driverless cars and robotics, because there's a lot going on in those sectors.
