Thatsaid, my guess is that it saves somewhere in the program directory (so you can load saved games from multiple user accounts). Look under the Program Files directory for the NFSU directory (probably C:\Program Files\Electric Arts\NFSU2 or something) and see if it has something for saved games.
Save folders are never placed in Program Files. They are Setup and program data's. In WIndows XP its in My Documents. In Vista, its in the Documents or C://users/(username)/documents/NFS...
Mostly all games do this. Try it out!
firstly you need to show hidden folders and files. then look under c:\appdata or something like that (i'm in office with xp now so i cant be sure), which is hidden by default, for the game folder. a folder with your profile name will be there.
Now go to C: drive then to Users then (your account name) and then AppData is at the top then Local Folder and finally in that folder you will find Need For Speed Underground 2 Saved Games Folder. :) Enjoy Man...
ok!!! you guys i have found where it saves on WINDOWS VISTA... so you have to go to the directory of the folden (C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\NFSU2\) and in that folder which has all the setup and run the game you should see a file with a blank icon that says "Player" that is where it saves all of your accounts and usernames... so if you want to replace it with a save game or something like that this is where you would go!!
the nfs underground2 save folder on windows 7 & vista (C:\Users\your username\(befor this you will open the orgnize menu in the left then choose folder and search options then view and show hidden file then open AppData\Local\NFS Underground 2)
then put your save game folder.
in windows 7 simply go to C drive. Then go to user and select the user name. Then double click the address bar it should look like this
C:\Users\Username .then complete it C:\Users\usrname\appdata\local .
then ull see need for speed underground 2
I have some problem to!!
I cant save my Need for SPeed Underground 2 .Im running Windows Vista 34 bit and every thing was ok. After i re insstaled my Windows the game cant be saved??(I also tryed to re instal the game it does not works)
NTSC-USA: Almost 100% complete! This save file has unlocked: all cars, all tracks, all parts and the underground mode is completed. All but 4 magazine covers have been obtained in the underground mode.
PAL: Region converted USA save, tested. Almost 100% complete! This save file has unlocked: all cars, all tracks, all parts and the underground mode is completed. All but 4 magazine covers have been obtained in the underground mode.
I have to change my settings every time I log in to the game, specifically controller settings and the display of KM/H instead of miles per hour. Also the game always tells me origin is not enabled in game, but it is enabled in origin for all games. Also I do not have a need for Speed directory nor settings folder in my documents directory. I play the game in english on a german windows 10 system.
Issue solved: Created appropriate directories, started game, reset all settings, changed settings, applied settings, quit game. New settings files were then created by the game itself. Question: Why did I have to make the directories myself? I even took the time to uninstall the game and re-install it, and it still had this problem until I made the directories myself. What kept the game from making them?
Normally the game does make the appropriate directories on your system. I am actually not sure why it did not do so for you.. something like this would most likely be caused by a permission issue or corrupted files on your Windows installation.
Nothing corrupt, and I would think that I should at least get an error message when the directory cannot be made. Other games have made directories for their settings without problem within the last month, so permission problems do not seem to be an issue. Perhaps the simple fact that I have a german windows yet installed the game in english could have had an influence, but again, other games under the same situation have had no problems placing their files within the same area, and that as recently as 2 days before the initial NFS install.
The folders which contain the settings files for the game itself, which should have been created in the standard path C:\user\$username$\documents\Need for Speed\settings. The folder need for speed and settings had to be created by hand before the game would save any settings, the game did not create the folder by itself during installation and re-installation, and provided no feedback that this did not occur. One other note: This was a preorder through Origin directly, not from an outside source.
Besides the joy that comes from building and racingridiculous cars at speeds the manufacturer never intended, the world ofUnderground 2 that EA created is a beautiful place that deserves to be brought up to speed.
The thought had never occurred to me.
Street racing in real life is a bad idea. The game does a great job ofcommunicating that message to players during its introductory video. EA may have saved lives by providing a safe virtual environment for people to scratchthat dangerous itch.
The regular save-game prompts get tiresome, the framerate struggles in tightly packed corners of U.R.L racing and the A.I. taxi drivers have a knack for wrecking you right at the end of a 6 minute stint in first place.
The device is something like a computer attached to a ham radio. It transmits data using low-frequency radio waves that can penetrate rock more easily than high-frequency transmissions, like those in FM broadcasts.
Here's why: In a 1991 New Mexico cave rescue, it took 170 people four days to save a woman with a broken leg. The rescue team had to lay miles of telephone line in order to stay in touch with the surface.
Alexander Kendrick stands in the Lake of the Clouds after testing his invention. He and the team of cavers executed the deepest known digital communication ever to take place in the United States. Brad Horn for NPR hide caption
Back in the cave, we arrived at the test spot exactly 946 feet underground. The radio was being set up on the edge of a big pool of blue-green water pocked with stalagmite islands. It was 68 degrees, but incredibly humid.
Kendrick and the team pulled pieces of white PVC tubing from their backpacks and assembled the radio's antenna, which looks like a 6-foot-wide tick-tack-toe frame with wire wrapped around it. Kendrick's dad, Brian, was about to hike to an identical unit sitting directly above us on the surface.
Two hours later, after calibrating the devices, Alexander Kendrick typed the word "happy" on a rubber keyboard and pushed send. Up above on the surface, his father stared at a small screen hoping to see the word.

With nearly 100% energy efficiency and up to 50% annual savings on energy bills, homeowners practically everywhere could benefit from purchasing a heat pump to heat and cool their homes. When you put together decades of electricity savings with incentives like tax credits after purchase, heat pumps are a must-have technology in homes today.
Geothermal heat pumps can range up to 60% savings because heat sources underground maintain a constant temperature making them less expensive to operate. Geothermal is a good choice in more extreme climates. However, they are typically more expensive to install because they require ground excavation to get to the heat source. When shopping for a heat pump, your HVAC retailer will survey your property and help you decide if geothermal is the best choice.
No ducts? No problem. Homes that use hot water heat or radiant flooring may benefit from a minisplit heat pump. These operate similarly to an air source heat pump, and are especially good for smaller homes or zones, as well as new additions that could not be ducted.
In addition to heat pumps for heating and cooling, there are also heat pump water heaters that are two to three times more energy efficient than traditional water heaters. They work similarly by absorbing the warm surrounding air, increasing the heat, and transferring it to the water tank. Heat pump water heaters alone can save homeowners more than one hundred dollars annually on their energy bills and last more than 10 years.
Heat pump technology is continually evolving. Look for new models that offer dual-speed compressors to better control the temperatures in different zones, or dual-speed fans that better control air velocity in the home to minimize cool drafts and noise.
Other innovations on the market include a desuperheater-equipped heat pump that collects waste heat from the system and transfers it to the water heater, and a scroll compressor that creates air that is 10 to 15 degrees warmer than traditional compressors.
Homeowners in colder regions of the country may want to look for a dual-fuel system, which combines a heat pump with a gas or electric furnace to keep their homes cozier while maximizing their energy savings.
A new generation of heat pumps now available can use alternative energy sources, such as natural gas or solar energy. Solar assisted heat pumps (SAHPs) have a thermal collector, such as a solar panel or evacuated tubes that absorb sunlight. The SAHP converts the light to heat using little to no electricity.
