Witha Focus Parent Portal account, parents will have access to important student information like report cards, grades, attendance, discipline referrals, and progress monitoring results. Parents will be able to access beginning of the year forms in Focus such as the Student Emergency and Health Information Form. In order for your child to receive medical care at our school clinics, parents/guardians must sign an opt-in form available in Focus.
The FOCUS Parent Portal account gives you convenient, secure, anytime, anywhere access to your child's school information. Establishing a portal account allows the district to become more environmentally friendly and cost effective. Portals can eliminate the costly and inefficiencies of printing, preparing and mailing paper documents. The goal is to do all things we can electronically and a portal is needed for this.
Once a parent has created a FOCUS Parent Portal account please gather Student ID, Birth Date, and FOCUS Parent Portal PIN to link a student to the account. Portal PIN will be emailed to the email address on file at the beginning of 1st and 2nd semester or contact your child's school.
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) is used to Add/Link students to your FOCUS Parent Portal account. If you used the portals online application to APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT, the PIN is not needed as that student will already exist in (or be linked to) your account. The PIN is needed when:
To view and download your students report card from focus, click on "Reports" in the tab under your students name. To download past report cards, change the school year in the top right of the screen and then click "Reports".
This message will appear when a parent is attempting to register a new student and the system determines that a student already exists in our system with the exact same first and last name and exact same date of birth.
I run gnome-terminal from XDG_CONFIG_HOME/autostart by login and wish to focus on gnome-terminal immediately without any mouse or keyboard operations and could done the behavior in the previous GNOME versions.
Probably I will file a RFE for gnome-shell later.
Personally I prefer the desktop mode to the overview mode by default and I wish not to go to the overview mode if the applications are auto-started at least.
@fthx I tried no-overview@fthx with gnome-shell-40.0 but it does not disable overview mode.
I checked gnome-extensions list --user and gnome-extensions info no-overview@fthx shows INITIALIZED state.

What I experience on these devices are that no prompt is shown and the pre-login services are not launched. I instantlly get denied login, locally from the OS with the message: "Password is incorrect. Try Again."
We can enter the local password to access without authentication. And while logged into the OS I can verify the policy has been successfullt run and the regedit is correct.
What are the next troubleshooting steps?
Is this a known bug and perhaps fixed in 23.4?
This fixes an issue where the DLU policy will only apply Once Per user, preventing password and other changes to not be picked up. This issue is confirmed to NOT exist in 23.3 and was related to adding an option to the ZAC Policy Refresh Command ("zac pr"). I'm not quite sure how that change impacted DLU but it did.
I was not sure if the DisableAutomaticRestartSignOn was part of the documentation, but I added that key a while back too. I think I just went through the registry key document and added the relevant onces...
Note: Sometimes the devices does this when a user forgets to log out. Either log in locally and kick that users or restart a couple of times fixes that. But in this case no one is logged in/have a active session on the devices.
Sure that there is no network issue at that moment ?When the DLU should work ? We have had an issue with fast new devices which performed very fast startup, but network connectivity was still busy. So, waiting on the logon screen for a minute before entering the password pointed out that the agent was not having connectivity to the backend primary server or satellite with authentication.
Maybe there is an issue with the local administrator's account. It's a little odd you are showing screen shots of administrator and not a normal account. Often Administrator gets disabled or renamed on devices for security reasons.
We usually have the expected outcome for DLU promt even with disconnected network. I did not test these devices by removing network, but my understanding is that they will show the login promt even without network.
I can't talk too much about our security messures, but thit is by design and in this case the login promt for ZENworks should come up whatever the account.
ZENworks ZCM can ping the client, I can see the green light in the device info on ZCM.

In 10.6, if I logged out of the computer for an extended period of time, I could log back into it without touching the mouse or without the screen having come on yet by pressing any key to get rid of the screen saver, then typing my password and hitting return.
