Wednesday, September 18, 6:30pm: Monthly Licton Springs Community Council Meeting We'll have updates on Councilmember Moore's proposed prostitution loitering and stay out of prostitution area legislation among other topics relevant to Licton Springs residents. We'll send the agenda when the meeting gets closer, but here is the Zoom info:
Saturday, September 21, 10am-1pm: Community Mural Painting Event @ China Dragon

Saturday, September 21, 8pm: Movie Night @ Licton Springs Park

Join us for a showing of The Emperor’s New Groove on the outdoor screen. Free popcorn will be provided by Pop’s Popcorn! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and meet us on the lawn on the east side of the park. The event is produced by Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Park Activation team in collaboration with the Licton Springs Community Council. This event is FREE and open to all. Closed captions will be shown in English onscreen.
Wednesday, September 25, 5pm: Last Burke Ave. Play Street of the summer featuring Venezuelan food from Paparepas food truck
A great way to connect with your neighbors and let the kids burn some event energy! Burke Ave. between 90th and 92nd, with Paparepas food truck located on the 92nd end at the cul-de-sac.
Wednesday, October 16, 6:30pm: Monthly Licton Springs Community Council meeting, in person!
For our October meeting, we'll welcome Mayor Bruce Harrell's Director of Public Safety, Natalie-Walton Anderson. She'll answer questions from the neighborhood about her work and what Mayor Harrell's office is working on to address public safety issues. This meeting will be in person! We'll send out location and agenda as the date gets closer.
Thursday, October 31, 4:30pm: Licton Springs Halloween Walk @ Licton Springs Park
Flyer attached! Facebook event here. Join neighbors in a safe and easy Halloween experience, as kiddos walk the park path to collect candy from Friends of the Forest. After a loop, hang out with neighbors at the playground for some cider and live fiddle music! All are welcome at this free event.
