Hello neighbors,

We wanted to share a couple of local upcoming events with you. We hope to see you there!

As a reminder, you can see all upcoming events, including our monthly Community Council meetings, on our website: https://lictonsprings.org/pages/community-calendar.html

Annual Licton Springs Halloween Friends of the Forest

October 31, 4:30 to 6:00 pm

Licton Springs Park

This family-friendly event offers a low-key Halloween experience in the Licton Springs neighborhood, especially suitable for young children. The event welcomes all families who would like to trick-or-treat along the paths of the park and meet the 'Friends of the Forest' who have sweet treats to share. Meet at the playground for music and warm organic cider.

Looking for volunteers to be Friends of the Forest

We are seeking volunteers to help create a magical trick-or-treating experience. Do you or anyone you know enjoy dressing up and giving out treats? (The treats are provided.) Are your kids older, and you miss seeing the young ones dressed up for Halloween? Join us as a Friend of the Forest and help pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters in the park.

Groups are welcome. You must be at least 14 years old to be a Friend; parents with children welcome. The time commitment is from 4:15 to 6 pm.

Please contact Melanie Davies at melanie...@gmail.com or 206-227-9155 if you are interested in volunteering.

Licton Springs P-Patch Harvest Potluck Dinner

Join us as we celebrate the end of the growing season and the spirit of harvest with great food and community! Please bring a favorite dish to share and enjoy an afternoon of connection and celebration.

We look forward to seeing you there! Contact Rena Cummings (rcumm...@gmail.com) with any questions.
