Hello,

I’m Kelly Horak, a communicator with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). I’m reaching out to share information about an upcoming pedestrian improvements project at the intersection of North Northgate Way and Corliss Avenue North. Construction will take place from May through November 2026 before pausing and then returning spring 2027.

Please see the attached flyer and map for information about potential impacts and the pedestrian detour route for Phase 1a of construction.

I’ll continue to provide updates as construction progresses but, in the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Thank you,

Kelly Horak
