We proudly support the Seattle Transportation Levy which will be on the November 5th ballot. This past month our coalition voted to endorse the measure after months of advocacy to increase the funding for sidewalks and focus the levy on safety improvements for our streets.
The transportation levy includes critical increased investments in our transportation system. If passed, it would make significant investments in:
- Safer streets and intersections to protect pedestrians and cyclists
- Maintenance and upgrades to bridges, roads, and other critical infrastructure
- Equitable access to transportation options for underserved communities
- Safe routes to school for children
- Construction of new sidewalks
- Improved bike paths
- And many more safety infrastructure projects

3 Ways you can help the levy pass this November:
- Volunteer: Get involved in the campaign now! We also have a volunteer orientation scheduled for next Monday, September 16, 6:00 pm
- Tell Your Story: We're collecting testimonials! Do you have a safe streets project that's made a big difference in how you get around? Let us know! Reach out to jo...@seattlegreenways.org to share your story
- Endorse: Are you a part of a community group or organization that might be interested in endorsing? Reach out to cl...@seattlegreenways.org for more info. (SNG neighborhood groups can also choose to endorse in addition to the SNG coalition)
Together, we can ensure that Seattle's transportation future focuses on safety, equity, and sustainability.
