i am newbie at linux....
i use open suse 12
i installed licq 1.6.0-24.5 and all other packages with it from yast....
green flower icon comes to my applications...
when i tried to start it...
there is a proccess as licq...
but i can not see any gui or interface which is asked my number or password.....

what is the problem?
someone can say something?

Hi,

You need to install licq-qt4-gui (or if you use KDE: licq-kde4-gui) as
well. Have you done that?

dear eric....
it was installed...
but i made mistake at my first instalation....
as i said, i used yast , suse system asistant for installation....
at first time, i choose licq alone first...
then i saw licq not worked...
i installed other packages too....
but it did not work too...

and i wrote my entry....

after your answer...
i deinstalled all of them ...
and installed all packages come when i searc licq on yast same time...

but not worked again...
and i am using kde..but not sure it is kde4...

Hi,

After you start licq you should see a red flower in the system tray
(by default down to your right). Can you see that flower?
