Intro to Lichen ID and Ecology class Oct 4-5

Hi Licheneers,

Great to see some of you last night.

I wanted to make you all aware of this Intro to Lichen Identification and Ecology class that Jesse Miller and Katherine Glew, both excellent teachers and longtime members of the NW Lichenologists, are teaching at UW in Seattle on October 4-5. I will most likely be a TA for the class. See the link below for more information and to snag a spot. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions about it!! 

This will be a great opportunity to learn macrolichen anatomical features and vocabulary to describe those features, use dissecting scopes (which will be provided), and put these skills into action by using a dichotomous key to identify some lichens.
