Hi all,
Just a reminder that we are meeting in WWU Biology, room 139 this evening at 6:30.
In honor of our joining forces with the “Mosskateers”, I asked Chatgpt to "Create an image of a mouse hiding in peat moss.” And “it” came up with:
Not bad for the mouse. The peat moss is quite generic “moss” rather than the distinctive shape of Sphagnum species. So much for the A Intelligence. But this was the free version (3?) of Chatgpt not the current, advanced one (5?). Anyone have access to a more advanced version want to give it a try?
Here’s its result for “An image of Lobaria oregana growing on a Douglas Fir branch”. Not bad, but again, not a good representation of the species.
