Summarizing licenses for a BOSH release or collection of releases (e.g. Pivotal tile)

I think this project was created towards approval and documentation of dependency licenses for Pivotal projects published on PivNet network.pivotal.io/products/

Since most things published there are Pivotal tiles, which are zipfiles of BOSH releases, which are composed of git-based source repos + 3rd party projects (tarballs from the internet), is there a pattern/easy way to run license_finder across an entire BOSH release/Piv tile?

How are Pivotal projects using license_finder in their CI pipelines towards publishing Piv tiles to PivNet?
