LibX Statistics?

Hello,

I'm being asked to provide statistics about our LibX toolbar. I found an email from last year regarding sharing elements from the Google Analytics API with LibX maintainers.

Are these Analytics stats available or are there other statistics that can show usage for our edition?

We're collecting lots of stats in Google Analytics (for LibX 2.0 users).

We have, unfortunately, only an unfinished prototype for how to share this information with edition maintainers. Essentially, the issue is that we must write an application that uses the Google analytics API and extract only the information pertaining to a particular edition (or editions) - Google analytics doesn't have a way to share the results of individual queries.

A student made significant progress on this, but the last mile is still to be coded - if anyone wants to devote programming resources, I'd be happy to advise.

We have hired a student, but he hasn't worked on it much this
semester. He says though that he'll get the job done in the first half
of the summer.

Hi Godmar,

I just found this thread as well as was checking out stats on http://www.libx.org/stats/ (that seems to be older, maybe just for 1.x? I see FF and IE only).

I imagine the new project you were referring to will include Chrome stats... any update on that?

I'm sorry to say that the student we hired did not come through in producing a working app. I'm hopeful to have another student by January.
