Hi everyone,
I am wondering if any LibX users who also have the Ex Libris Primo library catalog have successfully transitioned to the new interface? From comparing the old URL and the new one, it looks like the base URL AKA “Catalog URL” in LibX Edition Builder, is the same, but the “path” might have changed:
The URL for the home page of the new UI:
Here’s the same URL for the old interface:
http://alliance-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primo_library/libweb/action/search.do?vid=UPORT
I have tried these options for the path:
/primo-explore/
/primo-explore/search/
/primo-explore/search?
/primo-explore/search?query=
The first two options return an error message; the third one takes the searcher to the catalog home page at least. The 4th option returns a “No records found” error message so at least it’s trying to pass through content.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

I responded to someone else with this a few weeks ago. I haven’t heard from anyone that it’s not working so fingers are crossed!

I just set ours up for the new Primo UI. I had to make bookmarklets to run the Primo search because LibX still builds a query for the old UI. It will search by ISBN because the keyword field searches everything (that may be due to our Primo settings) but LibX is giving a warning that cues based on ISBN won’t work. They seem to work ok anyway.
Main search:
Search options: Keyword %Y
Journal bookmarklet:
Search options: Title or ISBN %ti
