LibX Edition Builder down?

I am not able to access the LibX Edition Builder http://libx.org:8080/editionbuilder/src/zul/

I am getting a Connection Refused message. Help!

When I or others try to go to the MIT edition builder (http://libx.org/releases/gc/install.php?edition=mit), there is a whole bunch of code gibberish at the top, and of course since it's still http instead of https, Chrome is screaming about it being unencrypted. It would be great to know if there are any plans to continue supporting or improving this tool or not. IT hasn't been working with FireFox for quite some time. I appreciate all the past work that has gone into supporting this tool for free, and understand it may be impossible to keep doing so. It would help for planning to know what the situation is. Thanks!

Our campus IT flagged libx.cs.vt.edu for running an old version of Ubuntu and were threatening to turn the port off, so I had to do an emergency upgrade. I think not all configurations were restored; the edition builder also hasn't been. It was using Tomcat 6 which apparently is end of life and needs to be updated.

With Ubuntu 16, they've upgraded to Apache 2.4 and php7 which was causing these issues.

I've fixed the http://libx.org/releases/gc/install.php?edition=mit page but haven't fixed the edition builder yet.
