We encourage you to forward this to your colleagues and professional networks, including local library associations. These volunteer-provided offerings are freely available to library workers and library students at all levels - no memberships required!

Dear colleagues,

We’re hoping you’ll join us for some insight and inspiration next week during our annual panel.

The deadline to register is Sunday, May 31.

Library Writing Cooperative June Panel: Step-by-Step: Turning Your Presentation into a Publication

Conference presentations are an excellent way to share your ideas and experiences with peers, but they can also be the starting point for something more. In this panel, librarians will share how they turned presentations into publications ranging from conference proceedings to journal articles and book chapters. Panelists will discuss their motivations, strategies, and lessons learned, offering practical insights for anyone interested in extending the life and impact of their work. We’ll be joined by:

  • Melissa Chomintra, Purdue University

  • Stephanie Johnson, National University

  • Mark Lenker, University of Nevada, Las Vegas

  • Dr. Michele A. L. Villagran, San Jose State University

When: Wednesday, June 3, at 2pm-3pm Eastern

Register here and we’ll send the Zoom link a few days before the event.

Can’t make it? Register and we’ll send you a link to the recording.
