How can I build libuv in msys2 or cygwin?

I couldn't find any document about these, and I have to use a VM when I don't want to install mingw(while msys2 is more powerful and provide any thing mingw have) or visual studio.

Is there any way to build libuv in cygwin or mysy2?

Hi,

While not officially supported, I was able to compile libuv with MSYS2.
You need to install the mingw-w64 toolchain with pacman and then follow
the Unix installation procedure. I've never tried it on Cygwin.
