I am trying to install libtensor on Ubuntu 12.0.4 LTS. When I do a configure it says it can't find f77. I have gfortran installed which is the new name for g77.
Is there a change I can make so it looks for gfortran?

./configure F77=gfortran
Added an issue for that, so it will be fixed this year. :)

libtensor uses Autoconf's strategy for selecting fortran compilers. However, unless you really have a fortran program, I would advise using the f2c compiler that is also in my github repository. It works fine and the resulting code has fewer dependencies and is smaller.
