Building a Static Version of Libstrophe on Windows

I am trying to get a static build of Libstrophe on Windows but am having trouble. I was wondering if anyone might be able to help. I came across a conversation while searching for solutions and hope someone can provide guidance.

I am trying to use the Libstrophe XMPP library within a Windows application. However, I cannot find any clear information on how to build or obtain a static library that can be used. Any information or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
