Jub Jub in libsnark?

Hi all,

I saw this cool presentation by Ian Miers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FZ2f1S_7mQ, he mentions Jub Jub, an elliptic curve whose arithmetic can be done efficiently inside an arithmetic circuit.
Is it planned to be integrated and used inside libsnark?

This would obviously be awesome (if still serves the generic proving properties of zk-SNARKs and not tailored specifically to zcash needs).
