Hi guys,
what do you think about this feature?
Btw, I've briefly skimmed the flame in maemo.users, and would like to
make a tiny point without taking any sides:
I've seen there was some flame over "now listening": I personally
think it's pretty important; I actually got the scrobbler because I
was constantly flashed with the "via n900" (or sth) designation next
to my friend's last.fm "now listening".
But all in all, thanks for doing this to everyone involved.
Cheers, D.

Hi David,

Welcome to libscrobble!

I would love that ;)

The support in libscrobble is already there. All we need is a UI to do
that, and I'm not sure what would be the best way.

Maybe the best would be to have a status bar plug-in with the status
of the connection(s), songs queued, and ability to "love" a track.

Part of this is discussed in:
http://github.com/felipec/maemo-scrobbler/issues#issue/3

It's not about taking sides. Different users have different needs, we
just differ in the priorities of features.

Good point. Maybe I'll reprioritize this (although I would like to
have network connection detection first).

Anyway, if you feel like this is needed, vote up (currently 0 votes):

Cheers.

@UI : yeah, I was considering the same thing. ("statusbar" currently displays "now playing" : to open up on click, to display a new option: "love on last.fm").

Best, D.
