The NYP is the oldest still running newspaper in the USA if I am not mistaken.
Also the one that broke the news of the Hunter Biden laptop.
Hated by the legacy media it is nonetheless a newspaper that Douglas Murray appears in.
Douglas also appears in The Free Press, created by Bari Weiss who could not stomach her job at the New York Times anymore and left.
She is more like a classical liberal as Martin van Staden would describe.
Douglas Murray has a weekly guest post at The Free Press.
That he appears in both news outlets is very significant.
Douglas Murray is The Cat Among The Pigeons who incessantly shakes The Woke Tree.
The Other One though is Kennedy who is suspending his campaign and extricating himself from the "swing states" in his bid to foil the farce that is American "democracy".
Kennedy was applauded at the American "libertarian" convention.
He is more classical liberal than Bari Weiss, albeit using coercive democratically voted for measures to achieve classical liberal ends.
Classical liberalism however is just proto libertarianism, unfinished wip regarding individual rights, a work in progress individualism.
But as Trevor Watkins holds, libertarianism is now a compromised word, and I agree with him; in my opinion, thanks to the clowns and fools that make up a significant amount of American "libertarians".
Reason magazine is full of them … a hodge podge of Objectivists clutching Randian any altruism is mortal sin fire and brimstone attitudes, and others self identifying as "libertarians".
We should rather move to the term "individualism" as Trevor proposes, and focus on defending it against becoming compromised.
The American "libertarians" applauded Kennedy and booed Trump.
A kumbaya togetherness of fools and clowns …
Kennedy understood something else, however, far more strategic and crucial … that the sum of the least square differences between him as a classical liberal, Trump as a mix of classical liberalism and conservatism, classical liberals at large and conservatives at large, is far, far less than the same measure applied to Democrats and the progressives among them.
In other words there is a far greater danger to individual liberty from Kamalamania than Orange Man Bad!
The most amoeba-like life forms in a daily second by second Nature in "red tooth and claw" survival mode would understand that.
Not the North American clowns and fools however self identifying as "libertarians" …
Kennedy's speech, his campaign suspension and why he is now supporting Trump, may very well go down as one of the great American speeches ever …
An interesting relationship, the fact also that Kennedy was never ever given a derogatory nickname by Trump …
OMB saw something that most missed in RFK Jnr.
