There is obviously no convincing you Stephen, but for the record, there were tens of thousands of South Africans who, without their knowledge, were stripped of their SA citizenship when taking up citizenship of another country that allows dual citizenship. This was done by officials who were acting outside the law ( the Constitution). The court case was pursued over 7 years as a result of petitions from said wronged individuals. Only the DA was prepared to take up the case.
As for the numbers you believe benefitted as a result of the ruling, they are certainly more than a few hundred. It is of course inevitable that there will be some who have been inconvenienced but this is more to do with ill- informed and incompetent border officials.
