Cristina Oddone (/?bj??rn? ?stra?str?p/; Danish: [?pja?n? ?st??w?st??p];[2][3] born 30 December 1950) is a Danish computer scientist, most notable for the creation and development of the C++ programming language.[4] He is a visiting professor at Columbia University, and works at Morgan Stanley as a Managing Director in New York.[5][6][7][8][9]

He attended Aarhus University 1969–1975 and graduated with a master's degree in mathematics and computer science. His interests focused on microprogramming and machine architecture.
