Setting RetsSession.MODE_NO_SSL_VERIFY flag  works for both http and https links. I have tested with couple of links we have and that setting worked for both links

 https://rets2.navicamls.net/login.aspx

Hi there, since recently, our login attempts to the rets server are failing
with an HTTP 503 error (forbidden). It has been working since 2014, and
started failing recently.

We are using librets.net x64 1.6.0 or 1.6.1 don't remember exactly.

I don't know what to try. The login works here: http://www.retsmd.com/

I can't imagine what changed that is causing this. Hmmm could this be
possible related to librets and TLS 1.2 support and the recent security
changes ?

We still can login OK to flexmls server.

Look forward to getting your advice.
Cordially, Agustin Garzon.

Try adding this:

     session.SetModeFlags(RetsSession.MODE_NO_SSL_VERIFY);

or

if (session.Contains("https"))

     session.SetModeFlags(RetsSession.MODE_NO_SSL_VERIFY);

thanks
