Hey all,

Anyone else having a problem connecting to webchat today? We're seeing slow-loading login page to the client, sometimes seeming to time out with no progress.

If I had a twitter, I'd tweet it at LH3, but I'm not that kind of guy.

Yes!  Oregon State University is also experiencing this, intermittently.  Very slow loading of the webchat login page.

Hi Dre and Victoria,

Sorry to hear of slow webchat client loads.  We have taken a look at our servers and everything looks good: load is low and no known networking issues on our side.  We've been testing webchat client load time and all seems well consistently.  The longest complete load time has been about 13 seconds.

If this is ongoing, can you send us a screenshot of the Network tab in Developer Tools on one of these slow loads (item with longest load time)?  That would let us see the extend of the delay and might hint at where a bottleneck lies.

But right now, our best guess is that it is a network problem somewhere not related to LH3 directly -- maybe somewhere along a backbone segment.

Of course, when I go to do this, we get a page load time of half a second. Maybe things are better now?
