Hi Pam, I received the following feedback from a staffer yesterday – the location of incoming popup screens would seem to be a relatively simple thing to tweak, no?

Paul, the thing that drives me (and others in the office) crazy (crazier):

We can be in the middle of typing a response, a new message comes in and totally covers the conversation that you are in and is looking for an immediate response. You then have to move the conversation box out of the way and re-establish the conversation that you were in the middle of.

It is like someone butting into the front of a line.

It would be great if something could be done – let the new conversation open to the another spot on the screen instead of right over the one that you are in.

Hi Paul,

Indeed, that is annoying!  We have code in the webchat client that is supposed to do just that: put new conversations behind the active one.  But it sounds like it is not working properly.  We'll add that to our internal bug tracker for programmer attention.

Thanks for the report!

Pam
