widget not working

I created a new user  and for the user, a new widget.  Its a pretty simple widget (embedded, no service rollovers).   We created last week and we were able to get it to work on her subject pages (I swear!  We both saw it!)  when signed it using the webclient and then Pidgin.

Today, however, she tried to sign in and on the WebClient or Pidgin side (we tried in both) it shows she is signed in, but on her subject pages, the widget doesn't display (sometimes it will show the "not online" message, other times it will show "chat not working.")

Other chat widgets that we are using are working fine.   Any ideas on what to look for?  I am stumped.
