Hello:
We are using the FAQ module as a policy manual for one of our branches and the other branches are now jealous and want to start using it too.
We could have each branch run separate modules, but there are plenty of instances in which they will have policies that overlap.
I am trying to think of the easiest and most efficient way to have the workflow for this:
- we can use one FAQ, but this would mean each branch manager would have access to the one FAQ and we would have to tag every policy with a "location" that it applies to (branch_name or ALL for example) . The cons with this would include confusion if people do not apply tags consistently and started editing the "wrong" policies.
- separate FAQ;s for each branch, but then we run into a lot of duplication of effort in order to make sure that the uniform policies are in all FAQs and stay up to date in all places.
- ideally, we would be able to maintain separate FAQs for all branches as well as one shared one - and have them all searched from one place. It would be clear it one in the results from which FAQ the results are coming from (not necessarily from the tag). Is this possible?
