Hi,

I'm a newly with enough knowledge of Linux to be dangerous!

I'm building a Librarybox and have stepped through the Make instructions carefully, but when I get to install libarralybox step I get:

Making your LibraryBox...

./librarybox.sh: line 25: python: not found

Done! Enjoy your LibraryBox!

I seem to be stuck, I can't go back and rerun the pirate box install AFAICS.

Help please!

Cheers

Graham

Hey Graham!

Normally this is caused by using the wrong OpenWRT bin file...did you use the one downloaded from the Librarybox website?

Instructions for total reseet are on the librarybox site: http://librarybox.us/problems.php

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the rapid response!  I downloaded from the links in the Make: article, and the filename is identical with the one on your web link.

Should I try reinstalling as per that web page?

Cheers

Graham

Give that a try, yes. I'll contact Make and ensure they've got the right OpenWRT file. They _should_, but...I'll check.

Yeah, the file name IS identical, i should put up an MD5 hash so people can verify the right file. *makes note*

The one linked off of the librarybox page is definitely the right one. BUT, if you aren't in a HUGE hurry, the v2.0 code will be out in the next few weeks.

Hi Jason

I went through the whole process from scratch (well, dead 3020!) and all worked well.

A couple of issues:  I get an odd message:

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!
Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!
It is also possible that a host key has just been changed.

ro...@192.168.0.101's password:

I edited the file to remove the key for that address and I got through, but it is a detour that would be better documented (or ideally, resolved).

The link for the Guttenburg bundle also fails.

And, finally, a real oddity that I cannot explain:  When I connect via my notebook I cannot see anything.  Connecting fails, but I CAN see the library on my iPad.....

Odd!

Cheers
