Clearing the Chat Box Contents

Hey All,

Is there a quick and easy way to clear the content of the shoutbox?

I tried rebooting and I see there is a config file that can be changed to disable it altogether, but I just want to clear out all of the old chats.

Hey Ben,

during reboot, the chatbox is usually emptied, which can be disabled via piratebox.conf

If you want to do that without a reboot, you need to execute the following command:

/opt/piratebox/bin/shoutbox_stuff.sh "."  "/opt/piratebox/conf/piratebox.conf"

This will only work, if you have enabled reset during reboot. if not, you should do additional steps..
