I have heard a few comments that spaces in filesnames could potentially be a problem and that it is much preferred to use underscrores instead. Is that true with the LibraryBox or not? What about in folder names and SSIDs?

I have never had any issues with spaces in filenames, although there certainly may be client devices that would. The default SSID that the system designates when you build a librarybox has spaces in it, so that as well is nothing I've seen issues with.

I can imagine a situation where a client wouldn't like it, but from the server-side, LibraryBox is fine with spaces. There are some font encodings and alphabets that cause it issues...we had a problem with Tibetan, for instance. But spaces? Spaces aren't a problem.

The issue is not a technical one - space characters are permitted in filenames and e.g. SSIDs by the specs - but they can cause confusion with users.

If you really want to create confusion, put two spaces together in an SSID and watch what happens.

Probably a worthwhile practice in general to avoid the spaces and use underscores.
