Please excuse the duplication. This email will be going out to a number of listservs, but as current SIG members, I also wanted to remind you about next Monday's session. Thanks!
Kathy
Are you an instruction librarian who is looking for ways to assess their teaching? Have you already have designed assignments, quizzes or questionnaires to that end? Would you like an opportunity to talk to others doing the same work? Then do we have an opportunity for you!
The Libraries in Curriculum SIG will be meeting at MLA to discuss best practices in outcome assessment. This informal discussion will provide a forum to share highlights, concerns or problems in quantifying the success of our teaching. Bring along copies of any worksheets, quizzes or assignments you have designed. This promises to be a fruitful session and we encourage all interested parties to attend.

The Libraries in Curriculum
SIG focuses on librarian instruction in support of health sciences curricula in
all its various forms. The SIG provides
a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences related to
library instruction; and facilitates communication, collaboration and
networking between librarians involved in instruction. The SIG encourages discussion of timely
issues involved in librarian instruction through the discussion pages on the new
site, through our co-sponsorship of section programming and at our annual
business meeting at the MLA Annual Meeting.
