Emily invited me to join. I have to tell you I am very excited about
this group. I have been looking for exactly this type of thing and in
fact started my own, unsuccessful google group: scilib
http://groups.google.com/group/scilib
I am a reference and outreach librarian at Rockefeller University
(http://www.rockefeller.edu/library). I am in the middle of my
distance MLIS program at Syracuse. Librarianship is a second career
for me. I was a researcher and non-tenure track professor at Stony
Brook University in the Pharmacological Sciences Department. To learn
more about me visit http://hollyjmiller.com (although this site is a
bit out of date...it's on my list)
I am free on the 19th or the 26th. I would also like to suggest
Fridays as meeting days. I have a long commute and so I can't stay out
late Mon-Thurs.
Looking forward to getting to know you.
Holly
I look forward to meeting you! You've had an interesting career path
so far.
So you and Michelle would both prefer Fridays over Wednesdays. Jason
can't do this upcoming Friday and I can't do the two after that, so
how does Friday October 5th work for everyone? Or we could do both
9/19 and 10/5...overkill?
