Hi Budding Librarians of NYC (and surrounding areas)!

October has been/continues to be an incredibly busy month for me, and
I assume for you all too. Let's have a vote on the date of the next
happy hour:

Would you prefer Tuesday, November 6th or Friday November 9th? Or
post other suggestions if neither one works for you.

Also, if you haven't already done so, might I suggest that you fill
out your profile with at least your institution and job title, and
maybe even a picture, so we have an idea of who all is in our group.
I can recognize lots of you by your email addresses because I know
many of you personally, but maybe not everyone can, right?

Thanks, and hope to see you at the next happy hour!

Shannon

I am not sure if I can make the 6'th, but I know I can't make the 9'th.
The New York Technical Services Librarians (http://www.nytsl.org/) have
a dinner meeting on Friday the 9th..

Aha! That's a conflict others might have--thanks for letting me
know. So we certainly don't want to have it on the 9th! So how about
if we have our vote be between Friday, Nov. 2nd and Wednesday, Nov.
6th?

Generally speaking Wednesday's are bad for me, but I'll also be out of
town the weekend of 11/2. In any case I'm a newbie and ya'll don't
know me (well a few may from elsewhere).

Friday, Nov 2nd and Tuesday, Nov 6th  are fine with me but Fridays are always better than other days for me. I am so bummed I missed the last one so I will go any day you guys choose. I'll just try for to work from home the day after.

also a newbie - unfortunately I don't think either of those dates work for me (out of town on the 2nd and work until 9pm on the 6th) but I'll try to make the next one...
just thought I"d pop in to not be a lurker. I'm a faculty librarian at Pratt Institute (Brooklyn)
