Open invitation to NY Librarians MeetUp

Hi! I'd like to invite members of Librarians without Boundaries to a
similar group, NY Librarians MeetUp http://www.meetup.com/nylibrarians.
It was founded by Ellyssa Kroski as a Google offline group in 2006.
Since I became organizer, I've endeavored to do a bit of restructuring
to suit today's precarious job situation. We endeavor to mix business
with pleasure at various venues here in New York. Our first was at
the NYPL just before Thanksgiving. Then there was a nice turn-out at
the Indie & Small Press Book Fair on a Sunday afternoon. Members
truly enjoyed meeting one another and networking. I did have occasion
to look through your membership and identified some former NYLMU
members. My object in contacting you is to provide an additional
venue to meet fellow librarians who are endeavoring to keep abreast of
the developments as well as maintain a group of supportive
colleagues. Please feel free to visit our site and join up if the
spirit moves you. I intend to join you on Thursday at about 6 PM.
