I'm on the fence. I'd love to learn more about open source but I'm in
public services and am not sure if it will all be too techie or tech
svcs focused for me to understand. Will this go over the heads of
those of us in other parts of the library? What do you think, Edward?

Hi Shannon.

I think you will be fine techie-wise with my presentation. I'm assuming
I will have a very mixed audience as far as experience with open source
and managing library systems goes, so I am trying to make it useful for
all levels. I haven't finished preparing my presentation yet, but I will
be presenting something on the lines of what I did for the New York
