Thank you to those of you who filled out the survey regarding date/
location for our December happy hour. The results are below, and
based on them the happy hour will be held on Thursday, December 18th
at Slainte.

3-way tie for: Mckenna's Pub--245 W 14th St. bet. 7th/8th Ave.
Special: 2-for-1 drinks noon-7pm M-F / Phebe's Tavern & Grill--359
Bowery @ 4th St. Special: 2-for-1 drinks 4pm-7pm M-F / Slainte--304
Bowery @ E. 1st St. Special: 2-for-1 drinks 4-8pm M-F.
4th place: TG Whitney's--244 E 53rd St. bet. 2nd/3rd Ave. Specials:
Wed--Complimentary Chicken Tenders, Wings & Potato Skins on the Hour.
***Thurs--no specials and karaoke starts at 8:30 so watch out!
1 suggestion: Blind Tiger Ale House, 281 Bleecker St. at Jones
(between 6th and 7th). Happy hour, 4-8pm, $1 off
Tie-breaking-logic: Slainte has the longest duration of happy hour
(until 8pm as opposed to McKenna's and Phebe's that end at 7). As for
the suggestion, Slainte has a better deal (2-for-1) than Blind Tiger
($1 off).
I'll send out reminders as 12/18 approaches--hope to see you all
there!

Hello Librarians w/out Boundaries!
Welcome to our newest members, Sara Leah (joined today), Cajafa (Dec
11), and Alex (Nov 20).
I hope the three of you will be able to make it to our winter
gathering this Thursday, December 18th at Slainte. And I'm looking
forward to see those of you I haven't seen in a while!
Slainte has a great happy hour w/ 2-for-1 specials from 4-8pm. They
are located at 304 Bowery @ E. 1st St. I anticipate arriving at
Slainte at 5pm. I'll find some way to make it obvious who I am/where
the group is located so if you haven't met us in person you'll be able
to find us.
