Hi,

I was just going through the details of the PSL and one question I have on the download interval. Suppose, I am using the public_suffix_list.dat file to a location on my server. The downloaded location need to be verified for any new updated file. If there is any new updated file available then need to notify to some process. There the question comes, "What is the ideal/recommended time interval to download the public_suffix_list.dat file?". I know this indirectly depends on the question that "How often the file gets updated?".

Please let me know, if you have any thoughts on this already.

Thanks and Regards
Pratap

Just from a gut feeling: 1x per week.

But indeed it doesn't cost you much to check the git repo for new
commits regularly, so you could do that 1x day without penalties.

Regards, Tim
