Support of language versions before C99

Hi,

I am currently trying to port libproxy to Solaris 9 and the Sun Studio
compiler
which doesn't conform to C99 in terms of libraries. Would there be
interest in
adding support for missing stdint.h, stdbool.h etc. from GNULib?

Actually, we are working hard on a port to C++ which I hope to commit in
a week or so. This should resolve the C99 issue.
