Reading data from Allen Bradley VSD

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to use libplctag to read data from Allen Bradley VSD?

It was an idea that came up a week or so ago when I was trying to troubleshoot some issues a customer was having.

I opened an issue on the github repo (https://github.com/libplctag/libplctag/issues/411), and Kyle suggested I post something here.

I grabbed a Wireshark capture between Studio 5000 on my machine reading data from a PowerFlex 525 (file is attached to the github issue) It appears to be using PCCC commands over EIP, which lines up with what I saw in this document (https://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/um/520com-um001_-en-e.pdf).

Has anyone tried to do this before, or knows how to determine what tag addresses would be used to read parameters?

I found some information about Pycomm3 doing this using generic messaging over raw CIP: https://docs.pycomm3.dev/en/latest/examples/generic_messaging_examples.html, but I'm not sure if Python will work for what I was considering to pycomm3 may not be an option.
