The National Numbering Plan of Mozambique has been officially updated to introduce a new National Destination Code (NDC) **88** for **Movitel, S.A.** mobile services.

Current libphonenumber metadata recognizes prefixes such as 86 and 87 for Movitel.
The newly assigned prefix 88 should also be recognized as a valid Movitel mobile prefix.

This numbering update was officially announced by the Instituto Nacional das Comunicações de Moçambique (INCM) and subsequently published by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Operational Bulletin No. 1340 (15 May 2026).

Could you please update the Mozambique metadata so that numbers beginning with +258 88 are recognized as valid Movitel mobile numbers?
