How to identify a country code by phone number in php

Hi All,

             This is Sanjay Verma, PHP developer. I am working on sending sms for invitations, its a mobile app. User(who is logged in) can send invitation from his/her phonebook. So we don't know, in which format user has saved his/her friends and relatives number, not even know those number has country code or not, whether number have saved in local format or internationally format.I don't know anything becasue its totally depend on user and user can belongs to anywhere in the world and can invite anyone across the countries. I use parse function where we pass number and country code. user can be also registered by twitter or instagram. So user country code is not mandatory. So how can i send sms without knowing coountry code and user belongs to anywhere and can can send sms anywhere in the world in any format user can save number in his/her phonebook in mobile. Please forgive me for bad english. Waiting for someone who resolve my problem.
